Hudson County Community College Nursing program has offered a unique learning experience. The instructors have helped me develop as a person and prepare to be an exceptional nurse. My two years at this program have taught me to cultivate good learning habits and skills to continue to use for my future education.

The clinical portion exposes you to a variety of different patient populations that foster an exceptional learner experience for what you need to be successful in the field.
Class of 2020Interested in starting you nursing career? Here is what you need to know: We are excited to welcome students and future nurses. The Nursing Program admits students once a year, every fall. Qualified applicants are accepted on a “rolling Admissions”/first come basis. Once a class is filled, any additional qualified applicants may be placed on a waiting list or accepted for the next admission year. Upon completion of the program graduates will receive an Associate in Science Degree–Nursing from Hudson County Community College. Admission to the Nursing Program is processed through the Nursing Program Admission and Recruitment Committee. Applications and program information may be obtained by calling the Nursing Program at (201) 360 - 4767 or by visiting the Nursing program office.
Expand All Collapse All ADMISSION and ADMISSIONS REQUIREMENTS of the Nursing Program FUNCTIONAL REQUIREMENTS FOR THE NURSING PROGRAMIn order for safe nursing practice to occur and for students to be qualified to participate in and complete the program a nursing student must be able to perform these essential functions. Required PRE-ENTRANCE EXAMAll Applicants are required to take and pass an entrance exam. Applicants must achieve an acceptable score on the ATI TEAS EXAM for admission consideration. Details can be found in the Nursing Program Student Information Handbook.
As of MAY 1, 2023 -Exam required- only ATI TES Exam. Exam must be in-person/at a testing site-location (Remote testing is NOT ACCEPTED) and exam must be within the last 3 years.
